Alchemical Botany
This progect considers alchemy
as a way of seeing: the addition of a single element can shift the whole system and alter the image of the world.
About
Irina Vinnik is an artist working with watercolor, ink and mixed water-based media on paper. Her practice is centred on large-scale works that explore botanical structures, ornamental systems and long-form series developed over time.
Since 2011, she has created an ongoing body of work through annual calendar projects and independent series.
